Not all of us against Jodie are sexist

Rutherglen Reformer - - Reformer View -

Well done to local writer Andrew Smith for speaking up on behalf of those opposed to a woman Doctor Who.

Some fans who have followed the programme for decades just don’t think it makes sense for The Doctor to be a woman – and the move is a pointless PR stunt.

Andrew Smith is right to say that thinking this doesn’t make us all sexist.

Andrew should have stuck with his original doubts about it. And I’m not sure of his claim “as soon as Jodie pulled the hood down I just thought ‘that’s the Doctor’”.

Could it be he knows which side his bread is buttered? It seems to have become dangerous to disagree with this daft decision.
