Sickened by stool vandals

Many residents were left disgusted by the vandals who threw specially made stools into a pond in Holmhills Park. Here is what you had to say: “This is sickening. Why do folk need to spoil the place?” - Tracy Baxter

There was not much sympathy for disgraced former boxing champion Scott Harrison.

We reported that a petition had been launched calling on people to support his appeal for parole.

“Exceptions which should recognise the good guys in boxing like Ali and Henry Cooper who knocked Ali onto the canvas but unlucky with a cut.

Finally there was praise for basketball players Leanne Woolfe and Ashley McCloy who enjoyed success at the Special Olympics.
