Fall in love with the new styles for autumn
The summer months are finally coming to a close.
All of our favourite shops are filled with sale rails of all of the summer’s looks so now is the time to cheaply stock up your suitcase for next year.
Now, is it only me that has noticed the nights are starting to get darker a little earlier? This can only mean one thing: autumn is approaching.
But before you all sigh at the fact summer is over take a look at the new autumn styles hitting the stores and it may change the way you feel about summer time ending.
This month I teamed up with Rutherglen’s own fashionista’s paradise I Love Fashion/I Love Shoes.
With their new autumn lines starting to fill the rails, this is definitely the place to head this payday.
I personally love autumn. I love warm coats, stylish footwear and cosy jumpers and I Love Fashion have got us covered this coming season.
My first look, which I was very excited about, was this gorgeous leather coat with a large fur collar. This coat really just screams out autumn.
It is so versatile, can be worn dressed up or dressed down and, with its stunning belt, this coat allows you to nip in the waistline, allowing you to flaunt your curves.
So why not opt for a statement cover-up this coming season and add a touch of glamour to your everyday look.
I paired this coat with a pair of chunky-heeled, suede ankle boots. I felt these boots went particularly well with this coat as they matched well with the colour of the fur collar, adding lighter tones to this outfit.
This style of boot is very comfortable for long wear time, great for days or nights out and with grips on the soles these are great for wintry weather.
My second look is this beautiful casual side split tunic. This top has comfort written all over it and with its soft, light fabric it is the perfect garment for styling with chunky cover-ups or winter coats.
The design of this top really caught my eye: a long ribbed tunic with a fabulous asymmetric design separated by side splits and a gold key necklace detail which is sewn into the fabric. The beauty of this purchase is you are really getting two items for one: a gorgeous top and a necklace.
I paired this top with dark skinny jeans for a casual look and a pair of leather-look, heeled ankle boots. This is the perfect outfit for a lunch out with the family or a date night at the cinema, comfortable yet stylish.
The final look I put together was this very chic evening outfit.
Celebrity-inspired high waist, wide leg trousers really are the trend of the season, with shops selling these trousers in many different styles and lengths, culottes or palazzo pant-style.
I Love Fashion have these trousers in a range of colours and with the pleated design they really are a fabulous addition to your outfit.
I paired the trousers with a simple, powder pink tank top and the finishing touch was the gorgeous, full-length blazer.
This style of blazer is an excellent accessory if you are looking to add a touch of Vogue to your everyday office look or if you are simply looking for a smart cover-up on your nights out in the town.
