Overtoun day for dog lovers

Friends of Overtoun Park’s popular doggy event will take place on Saturday, September 16.

There will be a number of competitions to enter including the doggy dash, best puppy, heel, and the very popular leave the sausage.

A similar event last year was very successful with over 150 people attending.

Even those without a dog can still take part in the three cuddly toy categories – cutest cuddly toy, oldest cuddly toy and the most unusual cuddly toy.

Refreshments and a tuck shop will also be available.

The first event takes place at 1.15pm.
