Carers canmake their voices heard
Carers in Rutherglen and Cambuslang are being urged to have their views heard ahead of a change in the law next year.
South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership is keen to hear what kind of support is needed in the runup to a new law coming into effect in April 2018 to support people who provide unpaid care.
The partnership wants to ensure it understands the needs of everyone in the community who are supporting others to live their day-to-day lives with or without outside help.
Any information given will be treated in strict confidence and carers do not have to give their name or any other personal details that they do not want to.
All answers will be anonymous and any information given will be used only for the purposes of developing a carers strategy that meets the needs of those living in South Lanarkshire.
Carers can complete the survey by going to www. southlanarkshire.gov.uk.
