Kyle to appear at TV convention

A Rutherglen actor will be meeting his fans when he takes the stage at a comic book and TV convention.

Scott Kyle has been booked to appear at Fort Con 2: The Highlands Comic Con on Saturday, September 30 from 9am to 6pm.

Scott is best known for appearing in the fantasy TV programme Outlander.

Currently booked to appear alongside Scott are Frazer Hines and Ian Hanmore, who also appeared in the smash-hit series.

They will be taking part in a question and answer session onstage, as well as signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans of the show.

Other guests at the event will come from the world of TV, film and comic books.

Scott played one of the Highland men attached to Jamie Fraser, who is in a relationship with timetravelling Claire Fraser in the show.

Since his appearances in the show the former Stonelaw High pupil has found himself with admirers from across the world.
