New teams wanted

-

Free footballs will be booted out to all new teams who enter a winter six a-side league set up in Toryglen.

Every Sunday and Tuesday the games are held at the Regional Football Centre but only four spaces remain as the competition gets underway.

In a sponsorship deal arranged by league organisers Soccersixes and Puma, all new teams entering will be given a Puma match-ball to take home.

Eleven a-side teams in Rutherglen, Toryglen and the surrounding areas who wish to enter a team as extra training for their side will also receive six free Puma match balls when they join.

There is no entry or registration fee to play and the league will be refereed by qualified officials.

All equipment such as balls, kits and bibs will be provided and each team will play a 40-minute game each week.

Any standard of teams are welcome to join the two divisions of eight sides with a promotion and relegation system in operation.

Teams that win their division have the opportunity to take part in the S6 Super Cup for big prize money.
