An arrest warrant has been granted for a Rutherglen woman who is claimed to have stole from a Main Street store before lying about her identity to police.

Michelle Goodlet denies robbing Boots of a quantity of razors, cosmetics and toiletries on January 17, 2017.

The 39-year-old Lochbrae Drive resident is then claimed to have returned two days later to steal cosmetics, beauty products and an electrical item.

Goodlet is then said to have told two police officers at the Tesco store on Dalmarnock Road her name was Amanda, born ten years older than her actual self.

The accused pled not guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court on September 12 and was due to reappear for trial on September 19 but failed to appear.
