Bus stops will close

Two bus stops in Rutherglen are set to close for 10 days later this week.

The closures will come into effect on Friday, October 13 and last until Monday, October 23, impacting on users of the M2 and 46 services.

One is on Croftfoot Road before the Mill Street junction. Passengers are asked to use stops on Carrick Road for the M2 and Mill Street north of the railway bridge for the 46 or M2.

The bus stop on Mill Street before Blairbeth Road will also be closed and a temporary stop will be put in place under the railway bridge.

Passengers can still use the Croftfoot Road or Carrick Road stops.

The closures are to allow road works to take place.
