A Rutherglen woman failed to appear in court diet after she was charged with being in possession of scissors and drugs.

Lynn Mone is accused of carrying a blade, or sharply pointed item, without reasonable excuse or lawful authority on Stonelaw Road on June 6, 2016.

The 46-year-old is also charged with being in possession of ecstasy, a class A drug, on the same date.

She is further said to have been on bail during the alleged offences.

Mone, of Princes Gate, denied all charges against her when she appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court in April and was due back in court on September 26.

But she failed to show up and an arrest warrant has now been granted.
