Pensionerdenies stalkingcharges

An 82-year-old man has been charged with repeatedly writing, calling, attending a woman’s work place and following her on holiday.

Angus McKay Morrison is accused of placing the woman in a state of fear and alarm because of a number of actions between July 31, 2016 and November 24, 2016.

The Glenpark Terrace resident is said to have given the woman jewellery, travelled to Nairn where she was holidaying and refusing to leave her place of work when asked to do so.

Morrison denies the offence and is set to return to court on December 21 for trial.
