Thief admits crime

A Cambuslang thief has admitted stealing refrigeration equipment and alcohol from a local shop.

Steven Livingstone of Rosebank Tower stole a“quantity”of both products from the Co-operative store on Hamilton Road on June 15 last year.

The 35-year-old, who was on bail at the time of the incident, is due to appear for sentencing at Glasgow Sheriff Court on January 11, 2018.
