Pop up and play event

-

The Central Cambuslang Tenants and Residents Association AGM will take place on Thursday, October 19 at 5.45pm in the CTEC Building Main Street Cambuslang.

All are welcome, especially any new tenants or home owners within central Cambuslang (Clydeford Road to Bridge Street). Pop up and play sessions will take place this week at Cuningar Loop.

Organised by Forestry Commission Scotland and run by Operation Outdoor Play, the sessions are designed to get the whole family playing together outdoors.

They are open to everyone and free to join. Families are encouraged to come along and enjoy a variety of outdoor play activities at the woodland park.

They will take place on Friday, October 20 from 2-4pm and Sunday, October 22 from 2-4pm.

Craig Thomson, from Operation Outdoor Play, said: “Our first session was really successful, with parents and adults taking part in the activities.

“They’re a great way to engage with children and adults in the benefits of playing outdoors and it was great to see so many people getting involved and taking part in the den building.

“We’re looking forward to the next event and welcoming people to Cuningar Loop. We encourage everyone in the local community and surrounding area to come down and join in. It’s free and promises to be lots of fun.”

Pop up and play takes place outside so dress for the weather.
