Cambuslang Parish Church are to welcome the Glasgow Phoenix Choir on Sunday, February 4.
All funds from the concert will go towards the church.
Tickets are £7.50 and include tea and home baking.
Children up to 12 are free with an adult.

Cambuslang Parish Church’s cafe is open every Wednesday from 10am until noon. Refresh is a new venture at Croftfoot Parish Church that runs every Friday from 2-4pm. It has a number of activities from a hand massage to playing pool. Fernhill and Cathkin Church is continuing to create new organisations for the congregation, including the knitting and nattering club and the fortnightly crafts and coffee club led by Archie Paterson.
The Fitness Follies keep fit class meets every Wednesday at 10.30am. St Oswald’s Episcopal Church in King’s Park have announced details of events at the church.
Monday sees Kaleidoscope held, offering a play space for children living with autism and their families from 6.30pm until 8pm.
On Tuesday there is community yoga, with entry costing £3 and lasting from 7pm until 8pm.
All abilities are welcome. Wednesday sees prayer space at 10am, giving a chance for reflection.
On Thursday there is soup and space to be still from 6.30pm until 8pm. Rutherglen Old Parish Church is open every Thursday between noon and 2pm for a period of reflection known as Thoughtful Thursday.
There is also the opportunity to enjoy fellowship over tea/ coffee and biscuits.
Anyone is welcome to bring in your lunch and join with others in friendly chat in the church hall. Flemington Hallside Church hosts a community cafe each Thursday from noon until 2pm.
The women’s guild meets on Wednesdays at 7pm and friendly hour for the elderly takes place on Thursday afternoons at 2pm. Rutherglen’s Salvation Army has a host of events going on, including toddler groups, the jam club and singing groups.

The parish calender is now on sale in the church porch, priced £5.
All proceeds go towards reducing the church renovation debt. Stonelaw Church’s Cafe @ The Meeting Place is open Monday to Saturday from 10.30am until 2.30pm.
Tea and coffee are available, along with home baking and a second-hand book stall. The popular Messy Church event at Rutherglen Baptist Community Church is held on the third Saturday of each month (excluding July and August).
The aim is to have fun exploring a bible theme through creativity, games and stories, and to enjoy building relationships by sharing a meal together.
A men’s shed has started up in Rutherglen Baptist Community Church.
The objective of men’s shed is to give men who have time on their hands a place to meet.
A workshop area will be built at one end of the hall, with a relaxation area available to sit and chat and put the world to rights over a cup of tea.

The new project provides a hot meal each week, giving locals the chance to enjoy some warm food and some company each week, from noon until 2pm. Croftfoot United Free Church hosts T in The Croft every Friday from 10am until noon.
It also hosts Lunch at the Croft on the first Friday of the month from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
Entry is £1.50. Rutherglen West and Wardlawhill Church’s friendship cafe runs every Tuesday from 10am until noon.
The Tuesday Club has resumed meeting every Tuesday in the Hamilton Road Hall. Castlemilk Parish Church holds community meals on the first and third Fridays of the month.
