WIN family raceday tickets with TV chef
Hamilton Park Racecourse has all the ingredients to whet your appetite for the 2018 season.
And The Ticket Lanarkshire has teamed up with the horce racing venue to offer five lucky readers a pair of tickets to the hotlyanticipated Totepool Family Raceday featuring multi-award winning Scottish chef Gary Maclean. Glasgow-born Gary, who won Masterchef: The Professionals in 2016 and was recently announced as Scotland’s first National Chef, will hold cookery demonstrations at the raceday on Sunday, May 6. The 45-year-old will design and oversee the hospitality menu on the day, which will feature dishes influenced by his time on Masterchef.
It’s set to be a real family affair with free entry to Under-18s and a huge array of free children’s activities.
Kids can enjoy a game of human table football, pony rides, Wii Switch battles, as well as firm favourites laser tag, face painting and bungee trampolines.
Enjoy top-class racing action and look out for the highlight £30,000 Totepool Tangerine Trees Conditions Stakes over six furlongs and the famous £22,000 Totepool Buttonhook Handicap Stakes.
Gates open at 11.30am on the day, with thoroughbred action getting underway at 1.30pm.
The fixture also marks the launch of new-look hospitality boxes for 2018, following a pre-season investment of £250,000, which saw upgrade works across the venue.
The Totepool Family Raceday featuring Gary Maclean is the first of three exciting May fixtures.
On May 18, the first evening racing of the season takes place at the Palmaris Services Braveheart Night with Big Vern N The Shootahs, before the DM Hall Raceday rounds off the month on May 31.
Individual tickets are priced at £19 when booked online during the advanced booking window and are available now at www.hamiltonpark.co.uk
