Admonished

A Rutherglen man accused of being in possession of illegal drugs has been admonished and dismissed by the court.

Robert McKain, of Ross Place, Springhall, was alleged to have been found with cannabis resin and etizolam at his home on July 11, 2017.

Etizolam is used to treat anxiety, insomnia and panic attacks but is not licensed as a medicine in the UK.

The 21-year-old was also charged with having the class C drug on his possession at Garscube Road, Glasgow, on July 27.

McKain, however was admonished and dismissed at Glasgow Sheriff Court earlier this month.
