King’s Park holiday club will hold their summer holiday club from August 27 onwards, from 6.30pm to 8pm each night.

Flemington Hallside Church’s women’s guild meets every Wednesday at 7pm.

Rutherglen West and Wardlawhil­l Church’s friendship cafe runs every Tuesday from 10am until noon.

The Tuesday Club meets in the Hamilton Road hall.

The Fitness Follies Keep Fit group at Fernhill and Cathkin Church meets every Wednesday at 10.30am, and new members are always welcome.

On Thursday at 10am, the Knitting & Nattering group meets in the Session Room, again new members are always welcome.

The Messy Church services are held on the first Saturday of each month.

Cambuslang Parish Church will hold a summer holiday club, alongside Flemington Hallside Church, from August 6 until August 10, from 10am till noon each day.

They will also hold Three Day Thing, for secondary school pupils, from Tuesday August 7 to Thursday August 9, from 1pm to 4pm.

Both clubs will take place in Flemington Hallside and there will also be transport from Cambuslang Parish Church there.

Stonelaw Church’s Cafe @ The Meeting Place is open Monday to Saturday from 10.30am until 12.30pm.

Tea and coffee is available, along with home baking and a second-hand book stall.

Stonelaw is also having monthly 30-minute services for those who struggle to attend on Sunday.

The next of those services takes place today, August 1, and starts at 2.30pm.

The church’s Tuesday Chat group meet every fortnight at 7.30pm.

Stonelaw’s holiday club will run from Monday, August 13 to Wednesday, August 15, from 1.30pm to 4pm each day.

Castlemilk Parish Church hold community meals on the first and third Fridays of the month.

Rutherglen’s Salvation Army has a host of events going on including toddler groups.

St Bride’s Church’s new Eat Up initiative, offering warm food and company, takes place every Wednesday from noon to 2pm.

Burnside Blairbeth Church will be holding a summer holiday club from August 6 through until August 10. Messy Church will return on August 11.

St Columbkill­e’s are looking at establishi­ng a bereavemen­t group in the church.

Anyone interested in helping should put comments in the green box at the back of the church.

They are also holding a meeting to discuss setting up a group that would look at the history of the parish.

They meet on Mondays at 6pm in the Hall Conference Room.

The Small Faith Sharing group have begun meeting again on Tuesday nights.

St Mark’s have a cuppa club which meets on Tuesday mornings. All are welcome.

The Divine Mercy Prayer group meet on Thursday evenings at St Anthony’s, 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

St Oswald’s Episcopal Church in King’s Park has announced details of ongoing events taking place.

Monday is for Kaleidosco­pe, offering a play space for children living with autism and their families from 6.30pm until 8pm.

On Tuesday there is community yoga, with entry costing £3 and lasting from 7pm until 8pm. All abilities are welcome.

Wednesday sees prayer space at 10am, giving a chance for reflection. On Thursday there is soup and space to be still from 6.30pm until 8pm.

Rutherglen Old Parish Church is open every Thursday between noon and 2pm for a period of reflection known as Thoughtful­Thursday.

There is also the opportunit­y to enjoy fellowship over tea/ coffee and biscuits.

Anyone is welcome to bring in their lunch and join with others in friendly chat.
