Rutherglen Reformer

It’s time to say it with flowers as a thank you

-

Do you know someone who has done something exceptional?

Have you been touched by the kindness and selflessness of someone who always goes that extra mile?

If there aren’t any words to describe how much you appreciate that special someone who makes a massive difference to their community and to the lives of those around them, a new Rutherglen Reformer competition, Say It With Flowers, could give you a heartfelt way to say thank you.

We have teamed up with Burnside florist, Stems, in Stonelaw Road, to invite readers to nominate an unsung hero who goes out of their way to make life better for others.

We are inviting readers to tell us the story of that inspirational someone in your life and why you believe they are so deserving of a beautiful bouquet created by Stem’s talented and creative owner, Janet Freeman, especially with them in mind.

To nominate someone for a Say It With Flowers hand-crafted bouquet from Stems, send your name, address and contact number, the name and address of the person you wish to nominate and information about why you think they deserve to receive the Bouquet of the Week to: Say It With Flowers competition, Rutherglen Reformer, One Central Quay, Glasgow G3 8DA, or email news@ rutherglenreformer.co.uk.

Entries should arrive by noon on Monday.

If yours is the winning entry, our reporter will contact you to arrange for the flowers to be delivered to the winning recipient.

We’ll capture the moment on camera, and share your unsung hero’s story in the pages of the Reformer.
