It’s all a shambles in the Brexit department
to ensure the needs of everyone – not just the privileged few – are met.
Over the course of the week, we also saw the SNP exposed for being real opportunists. Nicola Sturgeon complained that the UK government did not meet her to discuss Brexit – when in reality she would not find the time.
There is nothing Scotland’s Nationalist government will not do to find a grievance. The irony of all of this is that Scottish independence would create just the same disruption to livelihoods as is unfolding from Brexit.
Perhaps this is why the SNP leadership is hell-bent on blaming everyone else for their problems, but refuses to own up to its own membership’s desire for a second divisive independence referendum.
In reality, Nicola Sturgeon knows the vast majority of Scots want less division, not more.
In more positive news, I was delighted to visit the Theatre School of Scotland in Dalmarnock. I found out about it after the Reformer reported its Managing Director, Reece Donnelly, from Rutherglen, is up for a Young Scot award.
Reece and his team showed me around their premises and I was really impressed.
Although I am not a regular at the theatre, I found the whole tour fascinating and will be keeping an eye out for what his school does in the future.
That is why we need a general election and a Labour government, to ensure the needs of everyone are met
