Misplaced in Stereo

-

Wishaw pop-punk band Misplaced (pictured) have had a busy time since forming earlier this year.

But they are showing no signs of slowing down, with a busy end to the year to look forward to.

The five-piece are set to support 100 Fables at their massive show at Stereo, Glasgow on November 28.

Drummer Chris Roarty, who is from Cleland, told The Ticket:“Stereo is one of our favourite venues and we’ll be playing along with some really good bands from across the country.

“I think we’re all feeling good about it and we’re certainly preparing ourselves for putting on a great show.

“I have filled in on drums with 100 Fables for a couple of years so we’re really good friends with the band.

“Mark in 100 Fables actually shot our music video for our last single Struggle, so when we were asked to play the gig it was a no-brainer.”

Having released three tracks already this year, the band have been making a name for themselves across the genre.

Latest single“I’ve Been Up Way Too Late”was released a few weeks ago, with a slightly different feel to previous tracks.

“We’ve tried to find that perfect balance between really huge, anthem-based pop-punk‘bangers’and a more relaxed and chilled-out vibe. It’s just pretty nice to give listeners something a bit different.”

Going into the new year, Misplaced already have plans up their sleeve.

Chris said:“We’re filling the diary for the first half of the year quite quickly.

“It’s all looking quite promising and busy which is a great start.

“We’ve also been writing some new material and we’re hoping to record and release it next year.”
