Two taken to hospital after attack near pub
Two men were rushed to hospital after they were attacked outside a Rutherglen pub on Sunday night.
Police were called to the car park of The Braes in East Kilbride Road following reports of a disturbance at around 10.40pm.
The two injured men, aged 27 and 51, were taken by ambulance to Hairmyres Hospital.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Also on Sunday night, four men were injured following a fight in a Cambuslang club.
Police officers were called to a disturbance in Holepark social club at around 7.20pm.
An ambulance attended and three men aged 29, 37 and 56 were taken to Hairmyres Hospital where they were treated for their injuries.
A fourth man, aged 25, did not require hospital treatment.
A police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are at an early stage and officers are carrying out enquiries within the club to establish more information on the circumstances and gathering CCTV footage from the local area.
