Final panto of season

-

It’s panto season in East Kilbride and there’s been a whole host of options for people to go and see.

The run of Mother Goose by EK Rep and Rapunzel by Greenhills Panto Club may have finished but the Village Theatre will have you covered until the end of the month.

Running from December 19 - December 29 the theatre presents original pantomime Jackie and the Baked Bean Stock.

Join Jackie and her pals, Joe the Joker and Janey, along with her hilarious Mammy, Lola, on a Panto adventure not to be missed this Christmas.

Will Jackie and the gang defeat evil Endora?

Will they make it out of the Giants castle alive?

Book now for this year’s hilarious Scottish twist on the classic tale. Full of banter, fun, song and dance.

That includes a BSL signed performance, with specific seating areas set aside to ensure the best view and experience for anyone who is deaf or hearing impaired tomorrow (December 19):

Councillor Peter Craig, chair of SLLC, said:“Our aim in all of the work we do is to ensure equality of opportunity and the chance for all of our residents to make use of, and enjoy, our facilities and events.

“Providing a signed panto performance in each of our venues is something we have been working towards and I am delighted that we are able to unveil the news in time for this year’s festive season.

“I hope that as many people as possible are able to take up this opportunity, and that it is, in fact, an added advantage we are able to roll out across our cultural timetables throughout the year.”

Available to book on the Village Theatre website or by calling East Kilbride Arts Centre on 01355 261000.
