AIDAN MOFFAT
My friend Aiden McIntyre and I shared a new adventure recently when we went along to try out AirThrill at Glenburn Road in East Kilbride.
It’s the world’s largest combined inflatable and coolest trampoline park. I have never been so was super excited to see what it was like.
When we arrived there was a large queue, but we didn’t have to wait long to be checked in and given our bands.
Even my mum wanted to join in the fun. We went through a corridor and watched a safety video, were given free jump socks and then took part in a short warm up session before being invited to play and do what we wanted.
Wow! This place is huge! We went to the trampoline area first, had a go at the smaller assault courses and had a bounce around before making our way to the first inflatable area.
There is so much to do! I met some people from my school who were there too.
Aiden, my mum and I then decided to tackle ‘The Beast’ assault course. This was more challenging, as there were lots of obstacles to get past. Aidan and I completed it quickly, but my mum took a little longer. It was funny watching her trying to jump over things!
There is also a cafe serving hot food and drinks and if you buy a slush drink, there are unlimited refills with so many flavours – yum, yum.
The music was also really good and they even had a DJ playing from a booth.
Everything is on one level, so it’s easy to get around. You get 90 minutes of fun, so it’s good value for money. I loved AirThrill and can’t wait to return.
I was really impressed by how big it was and we never got bored, so I have to give this a WOWometer top rating of 5.
General admission is £9.95, including free jump socks. A combined toddler and adult ticket for the dedicated toddler sections is £9.95 (toddler aged 1-4).
