Citizens Advice hub keeping eye on virus situation

Rutherglen and Cambuslang Citizens Advice Bureau is taking precaution­ary measures amid the Covid-19 outbreak.

As a charity organisati­on, the local CAB office is monitoring the situation closely to enable continued support for clients.

Manager Sharon Hampson said: “The continued ability to maintain, as far as practicall­y possible, safe and effective support services to our clients is our number one priority, as is the safety of our staff and volunteers.

“We are following local and national public health closely to ensure this and have also implemente­d some adaptation­s to our services within Rutherglen & Cambuslang Office.” Important Points for you to know, Rutherglen & Cambuslang Citizens Advice Bureau will continue:

■ To support clients within the G72 /G73 postcode and continue to be available via telephone & email support from Monday to Friday, between 10am and 3pm. Please do NOT attend Outreach Hubs:

■Client appointmen­ts, drop in services and visits to all outreach facilities will not be available until further notice.
