No date for library yet

There is still no confirmed date for the reopening of Rutherglen library.

The Main Street building has been shut since the coronavirus pandemic began.

The Scottish Government’s roadmap out of lockdown has libraries reopening in phase three.

General manager of South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture, David Booth, said:“At this stage it is too early to confirm when libraries across South Lanarkshire will be reopening.”
