DJ George is back at the races
DJ George Bowie, pictured, will return to Hamilton Park this Friday night with a full set of GBX anthems.
His energy-filled set will follow a full evening of racing at the Phoenix Utilities Lanark Silver Bell Racenight on August 27.
The meet will be the 13th running of the Lanark Silver Bell Handicap, considered one of the richest races of its type in the UK, at the venue.
This will be the course’s last Friday evening meeting of the season with gates opening up at 2pm, and the first race at 4.35pm, last race at 7.40pm and bars closing at 10pm.
Tickets must be booked in advance, and will not be sold at the gate on the day.

“Historic racing is the focus of our last Friday evening meeting of the season with the Lanark Silver Bell the highlight of a great night’s racing.”
The course has now been given official approval to return to their normal operating capacity of 12,500 for their remaining fixtures of the season.

Earlier this month stylish racegoers from across Lanarkshire headed to Hamilton Park to enjoy the course’s most glamorous night of the year.
Featuring catwalk shows, best dressed lady and Slater Menswear man of style competitions, Ladies’ Night returned to the Bothwell Road course. And it proved to be a huge hit with those in attendance and was a sell-out.
