Earls Court, 1958.

In 1958 Douglas Motorcycles of Bristol launched the Vespa Clubman 150 which was described by The Motor Cycle that year as “halfway between the Standard and the Gran Sport machine”. Sitting on 8in Michelin tyres The Motor Cycle published a top speed recorded as 49mph.
