Chuffed with service and Scomadi

I have recently taken delivery of a new Scomadi from Ron Daley’s in Barnsley. The service I received was excellent and delivery charges were very reasonable. I have read all the articles that have been in Scootering and have liked them since seeing one of the first 50cc Scomadis at Scootlife in Darwen. They seem very popular as there is a waiting list to get one, which requires a deposit down and a wait for the next shipment to land. Having read about them, I was eager to ride my scooter for the first time. I rode it down to the bottom of my road and as I came to the junction it felt a bit strange, not changing down gear and pulling both brakes on the handlebars; I was still looking at the floor for the foot brake!

I found the scooter to have good road handling and was responsive when giving it a bit of throttle. I like the wide tyres and the beefy shockers and find front and back disc brakes give excellent stopping power.

I find it amazing to see what Frank and Paul have achieved with this scooter. You only have to look on YouTube to see how popular they are both home and abroad. Thanks for the great reports, keep up the good work. Dave Cooper, Keighley SC, West Yorkshire
