TESTING TIMES
We’re not making any claim that these are scientific tests. PM Tuning loaned us two machines for an afternoon to give our opinion on their Stage 4 kit. Stan isn’t the smallest of riders. At 6ft 2in tall and of ‘proportionate’ build (being a jockey was never a career option for him), if you’re of slighter build then no doubt things would go a little quicker. Given two scooters to test he did what most of us would – he found different roads and thrashed them! Top speeds quoted are taken from the factory-fitted speedos along a stretch of flat private road (cough) and acceleration was from a standing start to terminal speed over 200 yards/183m.
