STEVE’S 2017 TWELVE CORNERS CHALLENGE

Starting on July 17 from his home in Leicester, 77-year-old Steve Gibbs will attempt to drive his 198cc genuine Indian Bajaj rickshaw to the 12 cardinal points of mainland England, Scotland and Wales – a distance of over 3000 miles – in under 21 days.

Steve is raising money for the charity Healing Little Hearts which provides free heart surgery in countries without a developed health service, saving the lives of babies and young children with lifethreatening heart problems.

Steve says: “Last year I did the four cardinal points of mainland UK but this time the challenge will be much harder, really pushing the limits of the Tuk Tuk which has a max speed of 40mph.” If any scooter clubs or individuals fancy riding alongside for any part of the journey your support will be most welcome.
