Any stories: Changing a broken cruciform under an autobahn bridge on my way to the Aachen rally in 1991… between the traffic ;-) Favourite and worst rally/event: Every rally is good, it is what you make out of it. What is the funniest experience with a scooter: Two motorcycle cops stopped me on my Vespa cut-down, just to ask me what the hell it was! What’s the furthest you’ve ever ridden on a scooter: Margate 2007, travelling through Denmark to Harwich and then to Margate on a cut-down. What do you like about rallies/events: The scoots, the travelling, meeting old friends and having a laugh. What do you dislike about rallies/events: Too many cars and vans. Your favourite custom/featured scooter of all time: ‘Edmund Purest Green’, Jeremy Howlett’s ‘Wake’, and the German custom ‘Yellow Danger’ from the Eighties. If you had to recommend one scooter part or item of riding kit what would it be: USB charger for phone and sat-nav. What’s the most useless part you’ve ever bought for one of your scooters: Coloured exhaust paint.
