-

Name of scooter: Pizza In A Hurry. Scooter S model: PX 210. Date purchased: I built this scooter from f just a frame I had lying about, everything has been bought brand new to t complete the scooter. Inspiration for project: I had been looking for a set of Elite Panniers for over 20 years, I got a message from a mate in Ireland (Raff) who put me onto the boxes. So I built the scooter around the boxes. Time T to build & by who: It took about year y to build. I built and did the paint work w myself. Any A specialised parts or frame mods: I have chromed everything that can be chromed and added a lot of SIP products. I think it has its 80s look with w a modern twist... and is a very usable custom style scooter. My daughter Maya Rae Stewart loves it. She reckons it’s the most comfortable scooter to go pillion on... Barrel and piston: Malossi 210. Case: Ported. Flywheel: Non-electric start flywheel as it’s lighter. Exhaust: JL right-hander. Clutch: 22 tooth banded. Gearbox: Standard. Carb: 30mm reed-valve. Porting: Did the porting myself. Describe engine performance, power delivery and scooter handling: The scooter was good to drive before panniers were fitted but performance went out the window a bit. Like driving a bloody wardrobe in the wind. Are there any other unique details: As I said 20 years it took me to find these NOS Elite Panniers and the 80s bodywork protectors. Paintwork & murals done by: Paintwork myself. Overall cost: Thousands. The bloody boxes cost more than a decent scooter... lol. What was the hardest part of the project: Finding the panniers. Is there anyone you wish to thank: Raff for finding the boxes and my son Evan for helping in the garage prepping for the paint job.
