SIP wide tubeless rim for Lambretta

Finally they are available, the SIP tubeless rims for Lambretta in 2.50-10 (alongside the already known 2.10-10 sizes). No matter whether standard width (2.10) or wide (2.50) the SIP one-piece tubeless rims promote smoother running via state-of-the-art manufacturing accuracy, avoiding

the wheel vibrations of the former sheet metal rims. The modern double-hump design of the wheel helps prevent sudden loss of pressure while riding in case of the tyre being damaged. The air escapes slowly enough to enable the rider to safely bring their scooter to a halt. Other potentially hazardous occurrences, such as a valve ripping the inner tube open or it being trapped between the wheel halves during assembly are also no longer possible. The valve is pre-mounted to the rim and long enough to be filled even with special British armature.

The surface finish is perfect due to an extensive CNC machining process. The harmonic profile and shape make the second generation of the SIP rims easy to be recognised by the convenient design. They are available painted in various colours and even a chrome one made by galvanising. Genuine Lambretta studs in the brake drums need to be replaced by longer studs for the aluminium rims.
