Furthest ridden on a scooter: Stourport to Weymouth to attend an Awfully Pleasant Scootering Association Rally (170 miles).

Rally likes: Meeting like-minded people, the camaraderie, the social side (clubs, music, parts fairs), the concentration of scooters and the rideout.

Rally dislikes: Camping, so always stay in a hotel.

Favourite custom scooter: ‘Start Me Up' (Rolling Stones-inspired Lambretta GP).

Buying tips: Always buy from well-known scooter parts manufacturers such as Casa or Scootopia because they are more likely to fit!

Most useless part purchased: A South Asian-made kick-start shaft that just didn't fit (purchased via eBay).

Other scooters owned: 1959 Lambretta TV175 S2 and a 1969 Lambretta SX200.

Happiest scooter memories: Going to dances and parties in the 60s on my scooter with other scooter mates.

Other hobbies: Classic cars (own a Triumph TR6), motorhoming.
