Tom ‘set to marry’ his British lover of 22 ...who looks just like the last Mrs Cruise!
WITH three divorces under his belt, it’s fair to say that Tom Cruise’s love life has had more drama than the average Hollywood romance.
Now the plot is about take yet another intriguing twist – and there’s something rather familiar about the leading lady in question.
According to reports in the US, the 53-year-old actor is getting ready to marry for the fourth time after falling head over heels for his 22-year- old British personal assistant.
Emily Thomas started working for Cruise only last year. And it’s perhaps not difficult to see what drew him to her.
With dark brown hair and hazel eyes, she bears a striking resemblance to his most recent exwife, actress Katie Holmes. The pair met when Miss Thomas was hired as Cruise’s on-set assistant for Rogue Nation, the fifth instalment of his Mission Impossible franchise, out next week.
They are rumoured to have been a couple since late last year, and while this has never been confirmed, it is reported that plans are already being made for them to marry.
A source told US magazine Star: ‘Tom has fallen head over heels for Emily, and she feels the same way.’
The i nsider revealed that Cruise may have popped the question during a recent trip to Morocco while scouting film locations, and that a wedding could take place in December. Currently the couple are working together on film Mena, which is due for release in 2017. The source added: ‘She’s super caring with him. And as his assistant, she makes sure his every need is met.
‘ He always seemed really happy when she was around and incredibly proud to have her by his side.’
Miss Thomas was not even born when Cruise divorced Mimi Rogers, 59, in 1990 after three years of marriage. The same year he wed Nicole Kidman, 48, whom he divorced in 2001.
He hasn’t been romantically linked to anyone since splitting with Miss Holmes, 36, after six years in 2012.
Representatives for Cruise said they do not comment on their client’s personal life.
