Fathers left bereft

-

IF YoU celebrated Father’s Day, spare a thought for all the dads who

can no longer live with their children.

Consider the dads who arrive home from work to find their homes empty and their children gone, and the dads who are pushed out to make way for a new man, the dads who have served their purpose by providing a home and children and are no longer needed.

These dads work hard and then find their children are taken away by their wives and moved into a new home with the collusion of social services. They find their clothes and belongings packed up for them on the doorstep.

So many dads are losing their families and homes through no fault of their own. The saddest part is that so many children believe their dads have left them when, in fact, their fathers have been pushed out by their mothers. The sadness this causes for dads and their children lasts a lifetime. LESLEY RICHARDS, address
