Still just separatists

WITH EU decision day almost upon us it is time to consider the campaigns.

Project Fear, from both sides, also known as a sober presentation of facts by neutral and informed sources, may have persuaded one or two to change their views, but overall it is unlikely to have influenced many. At least the issues have been well aired and those who wish to be are better informed.

What remains totally unexplained, in my view, is the approach of the SNP. It is beyond logic that they should campaign to break up a very successful Union for those sharing a small island and yet wish to remain in a larger Union encompassing hundreds of millions.

I can only assume their EU position is reached for what they see as giving them best chance of another ‘once in a lifetime’ UK referendum, two years after the last.
