Taylor has a splash with the girls (and, surprise, Tom tags along too)
HE sailed through his meetand-greet with her parents, but the real test for Tom Hiddleston was always going to be his introduction to Taylor Swift’s ‘girl squad’.
And, if appearances are anything to go by, it all went swimmingly.
While most boyfriends would quake at the thought of meeting a group of women who have known their girlfriend for years, few have to face a host of supermodels, actresses and businesswomen with a total wealth of well over £200million.
But the 35-year-old British actor was more than happy to lark around with the group as they celebrated Independence Day on a beach in Rhode Island.
The Night Manager star donned a singlet bearing the slogan ‘I love TS’ as he waded through the sea and showed off a temporary heart tattoo with a ‘T’ at its centre on his right arm.
Miss Swift, 26, wore a sporty red bikini emblazoned with ‘America’ and sunglasses as she marked the US national holiday surrounded by high-profile friends near her £13million eight-bedroom home.
The pop star, who has amassed a £180million fortune in her ten-year career, was joined by several pals who are also big earners.
They included Hollywood actress, Blake Lively, 28, who is pregnant with her second child with actor Ryan Reynolds and is worth £12million, and lingerie model Karlie Kloss, 23, who is worth £8million. Also enjoying a dip in the Atlantic Ocean were British supermodel-turned-actress Cara Delevingne, 23, worth an estimated £4.5million, and model Gigi Hadid, 21, who is dating former One Direction star Zayn Malik and is thought to be worth nearly £4million.
They were joined by heavily tattooed Australian actress Ruby Rose, 30, her new partner Harley Gusman, who is a Florida businesswoman, Miss Swift’s childhood friends Britany Maack and Abigail Anderson, and US actress Uzo Aduba, 35.
The singer and her Cambridgeeducated Old Etonian beau – who is tipped to be the next James Bond – have been dubbed ‘Hiddleswift’ by fans since going public with their relationship three weeks ago, days after Miss Swift split from British DJ Calvin Harris.
