THIS week: Actress Kate Beckinsale’s shoulders

KATE BECKINSALE showed off her toned shoulders in a strapless gown on the red carpet recently (below). The 42-year-old works out several times a week with Hollywood trainer Ramona Braganza, who devised the 3-2-1 training method (three sets of cardio, two sets of strength training and one set of core exercises). The actress also practises yoga with Jennifer Aniston’s instructor, Mandy Ingber. WHAT TO TRY: Shoulder cycles are great for tone. Stand with your feet hipwidth apart, holding two light weights. Raise your arms in front of you so they are parallel to the floor (palms facing down). Open your arms out to the sides, then lower down to the start position.

Do six cycles, then switch to raising your arms out to the sides first and closing them in towards the centre and down for another six repetition­s.
