Houston is in awe of Luca

-

FALKirK boss Peter houston insists new signing Luca Gasparotto reads the game so well he could play with ‘a cigar in his mouth’. The former rangers defender moved to the Bairns after leaving ibrox at the end of last season and the 21-year-old has already impressed his new boss. houston has praised Gasparotto and his developing partnership with Paul Watson in central defence following the Bairns’ 3-0 win over Bray Wanderers, saying: ‘Luca could have played with a cigar in his mouth. he and Paul Watson look good together. All the new arrivals will improve.’ DUNDEE UNITED’S French international flop Florent Sinama Pongolle has signed for Thai club Chainat Hornbill. The 31-year-old former Liverpool star made a surprise move to United in December, but could do little to prevent them plummeting into the Championship in a nightmare season. WEST Bromwich Albion are closing on a £5.5million deal for Queens Park Rangers winger Matt Phillips. The clubs have agreed the fee and Phillips (pictured) is expected to agree terms and return to the English Premier League.
