ALL ABOARD THE LOUCHE SHIP LEO

Flown in from all over the globe, the flimsily clad supermodels and murky millionaires partying to help DiCaprio save the planet!

-

NoTHING says ‘Let’s save the planet for the little people’ quite like Leonardo DiCaprio flying a bevy of models into Saint-Tropez and sticking them on a luxury 300ft yacht. Add in a black-tie fundraiser in a French vineyard with perennial do-gooder Bono, famous receiver of dodgy diamonds Naomi Campbell, and a smattering of other party-hard pals, and you have the perfect modern charity bash.

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Annual Gala To Fund Climate And Biodiversity Projects — to give it its full title — was a rum affair this week.

But what of the guests? They were certainly all rich and nearly all beautiful. But with convictions, lawsuits and a love-child between them, it was hardly a gathering of the church committee.

So who is who onboard? ALISON BOSHOFF reveals the cast of Leo’s louche Luvvie-in.

LEO AND THE LADIES

LEoNARDo DiCaprio has one very specific type of woman: lingerie models. Like fembots stepping off a production line, they simply never seem to stop coming. This year’s wave of lovelies comprised Victoria’s Secret models Lily Donaldson, Constance Jablonski, Joan Smalls, Doutzen Kroes, Alessandra Ambrosio and Leo’s ex, Toni Garrn.

French model Miss Jablonski, 25, who also has an Estee Lauder contract, is worth an estimated £2.2million and wore a nude ruffled confection and Cheshire Cat smile. She was joined by Puerto Rican Miss Smalls, 28, in ravishing deep red, as well renowned Dutch Victoria’s Secret ‘angel’ Miss Kroes, 31, in a diaphanous terracotta silk slip.

Miss Smalls is ranked eighth on the Forbes list of the World’s Highest Paid Models with an estimated fortune of £4.1million, while Miss Kroes is worth £5.2 million.

Another Victoria’s Secret angel, Miss Donaldson, 29, from London, wore a striking black dress, as did Polish supermodel Anja Rubik, 33.

Miss Donaldson, who is also a face of Gucci, is worth £3.7million while Miss Rubik, who has also modelled for Chanel and Christian Dior, has an estimated wealth of £2.6 million.

Leo previously dated 22-year-old German model Miss Garnn, who was also at the gala on Wednesday. As he also did Barbara Palvin, 22, who was said to have dumped pop singer Justin Bieber in favour Leo in 2013.

ALL HAIL THE ECO WARRIOR

You can’t fault his willingness to stick up for the environment — after lecturing us from the oscars this year, Leo has done it again in party form.

Yes, serial polluter DiCaprio wants to be remembered as the actor who tried to save the planet. His charity, The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, has donated some £45 million to 112 projects in 48 countries since it was founded in 2008.

He told guests on Wednesday night: ‘Working hand in hand with our partners, local communities and leaders around the globe, we are making a difference.’

Nonetheless, why hold an eco summit 6,000 miles away from Los Angeles, where most of the guests are based?

This week’s bash raised further funds by auctioning prizes given by his celebrity friends, such as film producer Harvey Weinstein, director Martin Scorsese and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

All of which is thoroughly admirable and may just help to dim memories of his pollution-heavy lifestyle.

As the Mail revealed earlier this year, in only five months Leo travelled at least 98,813 miles by plane in 18 separate trips.

In total, he is estimated to have emitted a colossal 450 tonnes of Co2, whereas the average American emits 19 tonnes a year.

Embarrassingly, one of the journeys was a day trip from New York to Cannes and back — to receive a green award. This was reportedly completed by private jet — a notoriously unenvironmental way to travel.

HOLLYWOOD BAD BOYS’ CLUB

WHEN he was a teenage movie star, Leo loved to hang out with his bad-boy gang — including Ben Affleck and Tobey Maguire — who were noted for causing trouble in nightclubs.

Leo still remains loyal to Maguire, 41, who once played Spider-Man and was present at this week’s gala. Maguire’s reputation, once seen as squeaky clean, has taken a considerable knock thanks to his gambling habit.

one-time cocktail waitress Molly Bloom said she organised poker games for Maguire and DiCaprio and wrote in a book that Maguire was ‘the worst tipper, the best player, and the absolute worst loser’.

She said that he ordered her to ‘bark like a seal who wants fish’ in return for a $1,000 chip. Also hanging out with Leo at the party was Jonah Hill, one of his co-stars in hit film The Wolf of Wall Street. He’s an actor equally noted for directing homophobic abuse at a photographer.

A LESSER SPOTTED FREUD

WHEN millionaire PR man Matthew Freud, 52, strolled aboard the yacht, it was the first time he had been seen since his father, the late broadcaster Sir Clement, was revealed last month as a paedophile who sexually abused teenage girls.

unlike his mother Jill, who apologised to her husband’s victims when she learned of the scandal, Matthew has been tightlipped on the matter, cancelling his annual summer party and preferring to lie low.
