Lily asks girls, 9: Have you seen Pretty Woman?

SHE became a favourite among young girls playing Cinderella in the Disney film.

But when Lily James shared her own favourite film with two primary school pupils, it wasn’t exactly age appropriate.

Speaking to the nineyear-old girls, the Downton Abbey star, pictured, revealed Julia Roberts was her favourite actress – before asking if they had seen her play a prostitute in Pretty Women, which has a 15 age rating.

Asked for her favourite film, Miss James said: ‘It’s probably any film with Julia Roberts. Have you seen Pretty Woman?’

When both of the Year 5 pupils looked blank, the 27-year-old added: ‘You’re maybe a bit young for Pretty Woman.’ One of the girls then said the 1996 adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Matilda was her favourite.

The exchange was captured in a recording of the talk at Brecknock Primary School, in Camden, North London, posted online last week. Miss James visited with her boyfriend, Doctor Who actor Matt Smith.
