As Green’s daughter parties in St Tropez, sacked BHS workers face life on the dole
HER father has attempted to keep a low profile after facing damning criticism over the BHS collapse.
But Topshop heiress Chloe Green appeared determined to stick to her party lifestyle in exclusive nightspots in glamorous St Tropez.
The 25-year-old was pictured pouting alongside models and millionaires in the French Riviera resort this weekend – as 20 more BHS shops closed their doors for the final time.
Miss Green, who has appeared in Made in Chelsea and designed her own shoe collections for Topshop, was pictured with Victoria’s Secret model Natasha Poly and Robert Cavalli, the son of fashion designer Roberto Cavalli.
The photo was posted on Instagram on Saturday by club impresario Jean Roch, whose VIP Room is one of the most exclusive clubs in St Tropez.
A day later Mr Cavalli shared a picture of Miss Green in a candlelit beach bar in the resort, gazing into the eyes of a dark-haired man. And in the early hours of yesterday property tycoon Robbie Tchenguiz – a friend of Sir Philip – posted a selfie showing himself, Miss Green and his sister Lisa, apparently taken at another nightspot in the Cote d’Azur resort. He posted the picture on Instagram with a message, ‘Nice to see you pretty Chloe’.
Miss Green deleted her own Instagram account earlier this year after posting a series of pictures of herself enjoying the Coachella music festival in California and partying in London – just as BHS went into administration. She is a regular in St Tropez in summer, when she often stays with her parents on one of their superyachts. Miss Green and her elder brother Brandon have their own 108ft yacht, which is currently moored in Ibiza.
Brandon celebrated his bar mitzvah in the South of France when he was 13. Sir Philip picked up a reported £4million bill for a threeday celebration which included Beyonce singing live.
Miss Green also has a flat in Belgravia, West London, bought by her father, and was dating one of the Made in Chelsea crowd, Ollie Locke.
She was also linked to singer Marc Anthony, the ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez, who was twice her age, and footballer Jermain Defoe. She recently shared pictures of herself with footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
Miss Green has insisted she is ‘super down to earth’. She told Elle magazine: ‘I’m not saying to my dad: “Because we have a jet, can I borrow it and fly down to France?”.
‘If my dad says: “Would you like the plane?” then I’ll say: “Sure, if you don’t mind.” But if not, BA [British Airways] is fine.’
