Yardie murder in sleepy village

Gangster shoots rival at sex pool party held by woman who won £3m payout from NHS

A REVELLER was shot dead and another seriously injured at a pool party in a Surrey mansion organised by a millionaire mother of two.

More than 400 guests fled as a gangster opened fire with a handgun at the rave, in Headley, near Leatherhead.

A 34-year-old man collapsed after being blasted in the chest in the garden of the £1million property.

A woman of 36 was left with injuries to her leg, and another man suffered a shoulder wound after a row erupted between so-called ‘Yardie’ gangsters, witnesses said.

Some of the revellers rushed to help the most seriously wounded victim, but he died at the scene.

Last night police were quizzing one man on suspicion of murder and another on suspicion of assisting an offender. They were arrested 12 hours after fleeing the party at 2.30am on Sunday night.

The event was arranged by Jamaican rapper Jason White, 21, and his wealthy girlfriend Summerlyn Farquharson, also known as ‘Krissy’.

Social media accounts for the 29year-old – who refers to herself as a ‘bad b **** ’ and ‘the female boss’ – reveal a globetrotting lifestyle centred on alcohol-fuelled parties.

Images show her cavorting in skimpy outfits, appearing to smoke cannabis, and posing with flash cars, wads of cash and champagne.

Days before the rave, she posted videos online of the couple in one of the mansion’s two pools. She urged her thousands of online followers to buy £15 tickets for ‘The Big Mansion Pool Party Part 3’ at ‘A Posh Party: Summerlyn Farquharson Location in the Hills’. She has rented the home for £5,000 a month since 2014 after receiving a £3.1million payout from Whittington Hospital, north London.

Her son was starved of oxygen at birth there, causing brain damage and cerebral palsy. Shortly after moving into the six-bedroom home with her son, now eight, and her five-year-old daughter, Miss Farquharson and her boyfriend decided to throw parties there, inviting revellers from as far as Jamaica.

Police went to the latest event at 10pm to tell them to turn down the blaring music after receiving complaints. But officers decided not to shut down the party, which had been licensed by the council.

Neighbours warned police of trouble just hours before the violence, after hundreds of rowdy scantilyclad partygoers descended on the sleepy village for what some locals described as a ‘massive sex party’.

A woman who attended described how a group of men discussed ‘keeping their guns close’ shortly before shots were fired.

‘I was pulled down to the floor, there was a big stampede of people but I was stuck inside, in the corner,’ she told MailOnline. ‘I couldn’t get out but thought it was safer to stay inside … I couldn’t believe what was happening.

‘[The victim] was about ten steps away … lying there on the floor. Police came after about half an hour and the ambulance took about 45 minutes. Three girls did CPR. They were nurses … There must have been 300 or 400 people there. It’s a good location if you want to get someone because it’s so secluded.’

The woman added: ‘Certain people there had refused to be checked by security at the door. There was one security guard there but I think he was just for show.’ Rapper Mr White, known by his stage name Spookie, was performing when he heard the gunfire.

He said: ‘People just started running around shouting, “call the police, call the police”.’

Mr White said he had hired a private security firm and told guests ‘security tight, good behaviour is a must’, but weapons were still smuggled in. Mr White added: ‘I don’t know the person who did it.’

Miss Farquharson said: ‘It’s my house, but I wasn’t there when the man was shot. I’m not prepared to talk now.’

One witness said the atmosphere changed after the arrival of several people suspected of being Yardies – a term for Jamaican-born gangsters, referring to the impoverished back yards of Kingston, Jamaica.

A short time later neighbours heard gunshots. Within minutes, hundreds of partygoers had fled. Photos show the garden was left strewn with broken bottles, used condoms and even a knife. Last night neighbours questioned why the event was licensed by Mole Valley District Council, which gave permission for it to go on till 4am.

One said: ‘The whole village is in shock. It is a very sleepy village and it is probably one of the safest places to live.’

Another who asked not to be named said: ‘This is the third year in a row they’ve thrown a massive sex party there – it’s ridiculous.’

Neighbour Harry Higgs, 17, said he initially feared it was a terror attack because the village is near Headley Court, the Ministry of Defence’s rehabilitation centre for wounded military personnel.

David Preedy, chairman of Headley Parish Council, said he called the police and asked them to patrol after he heard the party had ‘started to build up’ at 7.30pm.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who saw a white and black Mini which left the scene following the shooting.
