Yes, these really are the kids of Outnumbered!
THEY’D no doubt have a wickedly witty riposte to it – but haven’t the children from Outnumbered grown up fast!
A photo of the youngsters looking wildly different from their days on the hit comedy caused hilarity on social media yesterday.
It was posted by Ramona Marquez, 15, who played mischievous Karen Brockman from the age of six. She is pictured in a crop top showing off her belly button piercing flanked by co-stars Daniel Roche, 16, who has got rid of the curly hairstyle he wore playing Ben when he was seven, and Tyger Drew-Honey, 20, who played moody eldest son Jake.
The BBC1 show – which saw the Brockmans’ parents, played by Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner, try to keep control of their raucous children – regularly drew nearly seven million viewers. The children were famously allowed to improvise during filming leading to hilariously spontaneous lines.
Fans took to social media to remark on the latest picture. One wrote: ‘I refuse to believe these are the kids from Outnumbered,’ while another asked, ‘The Outnumbered cast are so grown up, why am I getting so old?’
The last episode of the sitcom aired two years ago. Drew-Honey has since launched a career fronting documentaries for BBC Three. In 2015, Ramona had a role in Canadian drama film A Louder Silence and Daniel has not acted since he appeared in the programme.
