AT AN event for his heads Together charity that tackles the stigma surrounding mental illness, Prince harry said he regrets not having talked about his mother’s death until three years ago.

he is now 31, just five years younger than Diana when she died. It was a brave confession, but he failed to explain what got him through and I wish he had gone further. Did he seek conselling once he finally did open up? Did he suffer from depression?

These are important questions. So many young men seem to suffer from a lack of self-worth, yet can’t talk about their feelings or seek help. No wonder suicide is the single biggest cause of death among men under 45.
