Barry Humphries’ Weimar Cabaret
Barry Humphries with Meow Meow and the Australian Chamber Orchestra. Join the incomparable Barry Humphries and cabaret star Meow Meow for an evening of foot tapping song and dance in decadent 1930s Berlin.

Shake
After Shakespeare’s twelfth night, comedy in a typical 1970s seaside resort in a farcical version of Shakespeare’s tale of boys playing girls playing boys playing girls.

Scottish Ballet
A world class emotional double bill. A huge corps de ballet fills the stage in a mesmerisingly beautiful work by one of the most exciting choreographers in the world today, Crystal Pite. It is set alongside a powerful work by Angelin Preljocaj, whose 2012 International Festival shows thrilled audiences and critics alike. Thu 18 – Sat 20 August, 7.30pm, Festival Theatre. Russian National Orchestra
Brilliant Russian music from the brilliant Russian Orchestra. with classical compositions by Mussorgsky, tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, the Russian national Orchestra performs in two concerts gleaming with sonic power.

The Toad Knew
Stunning circus acrobatics. Join James thierrée for a new show, described by one reviewer as ‘flamboyant, hallucinatory and ravishingly beautiful’, bringing together dancers, contortionists, high wire artists and wonderful performers. Must be booked before August 24.
