What has Petra, 27, done to her face?
WITH her long blonde locks, lithe figure and fresh face, Petra Ecclestone has always been a natural beauty. Until now.
For the Formula One heiress was pictured preparing for a night out with sister Tamara, 32, earlier this week looking – well, nothing like her old self.
With a new peroxide blonde bob, over-inflated lips and pumped-up cheeks, she was barely recognisable.
Responding on Instagram to claims she’d gone under the knife, she wrote: ‘Thank you for the comments and I am very thrilled for the positive feedback however I have never had any surgery on my face or any filler… But yes I did cut my hair.’ She added: ‘Ps. It’s called pouting.’ While 27-year-old Petra, who has three children with husband James Stunt, didn’t comment further, professionals have been speculating as to what may have caused the change.
Cosmetic surgeon Dr Costas Papageorgiou said: ‘The current image shows strong contouring makeup but nevertheless it is clear she had rejuvenation and volumisation across the whole face to enhance different zones.’

LIPS

Anne-Marie Gillett of Transform said: ‘I would almost certainly say that she’s had some recent lip filler treatment where too much product withhas enough overdonebeenher caretop injectedlip. has and Petra beenis at andis risk taken lookingnot of ruining While her lip looks.’ volume naturally declines noticeably with bigger age, than Petra’sa decade are ago.
Top Harley Street cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva of the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery agrees, saying: ‘Petra Ecclestone’s lips now dominate her features and it is likely that at the very least the top lip has been augmented with injectable fillers.’
FOREHEAD
HER forehead is totally smooth, and the skin has an unnatural sheen – which is a tell-tale sign of Botox. Dr De Silva said: ‘Petra is only 27 so it’s possible that her linefree forehead is from her relatively young age and not from Botox use. Pulling the hair back in that style may also contribute to a tightening of the face.’
BROWS
PETRA’S natural eyebrows – fair, slim arches – appear to have been replaced with thick, black brows. These could be the result of semi-permanent makeup tattoos.
Dr De Silva said: ‘It appears she may have had some semipermanent makeup on her eyebrows as they appear to be much darker and more pronounced than previously’.
CHEEKS
ALTHOUGH cheek volume naturally declines with age, Petra’s cheeks are far more pronounced. Dr Costas Papageorgiou said: ‘There are signs that she has used volumising agents such as fillers around her cheekbones and mid-face as this area is more projected with a youthful curve.’
MOLE
WHILE Petra has a prominent mole on her right cheek, she appears to have had the left one removed. Mr Sultan Hassan, of Elite Surgical, said: ‘It looks like she’s had a mole removal performed. I would normally shave these types of benign, pigmented mole’.
