Thinning blue line

I AM dismayed that the police force is to be cut further (Mail).

I cannot remember the last time that I saw traffic police in Dundee — a place where they are desperately needed. Tailgating, speeding, not indicating on roundabouts, reversing onto main roads, illegal number plates and not putting car headlights on despite it being dark or raining are the norm now.
