WALES supremo Warren Gatland is odds-on to be named the next British and Irish Lions coach for the tour of New Zealand, but it’s not widely known that Vern Cotter was interviewed as well. The Scotland head coach gave a good account of himself but Gatland was always going to be the front-runner after leading the team to victory in Australia four years ago. It was always a long shot for Vern, but why not take him as forwards coach?
